Hulu and horror powerhouse Blumhouse are teaming up for a new original anthology series. It has not been revealed who will be directing or writing the series, but we do know that the once monthly show will feature 12 self-contained episodes for a year. Each episode will feature a new tale with a narrative that will connect each of them, Variety reports.
At the heart of the deal is an extremely passionate audience and an extremely activateable audience in terms of horror,” Joel Stillerman, Hulu chief content officer, stated. “It’s not even the larger bucket of ‘genre.’ I would say this falls squarely into the horror bucket. And it’s brought to us by, I would say in many ways that would be hard to argue, the consummate producers in that genre today.”
