A group of shipwrecked sailors think that they have found salvation when they come ashore a an island in Matthew Butler Hart’s The Isle, but instead, they may have sealed their fate.
Co-written by Tori Butler Hart, the film is set in 1840. When a ship crashes on the rocks of an almost deserted island in Scotland, three sailors who have survived the wreck are taken in by the remaining residents while they wait for another boat to arrive. But the sailors’ survival is put in jeopardy when they uncover the strange past of the once vibrant island.
