Blue Fox Entertainment has snagged the North American rights to the Australian genre thriller Out of the Shadows from director Dee McLachlan.
The film centers on a newly-wed detective, played by Blake Northfield, who moves into his dream home unaware of the building’s dark history. When his wife claims she is being tormented by a supernatural force, he seeks help from a rogue demonologist.
Kendal Rae (Life), Jim Robison (Hacksaw Ridge), Goran D. Kleut (I, Frankenstein), Helmut Bakaitis (The Matrix: Revolutions and Reloaded), and Jake Ryan (The Great Gatsby) also star. Craig Henry penned the script.
Northfield will not only star but also produce alongside Tim Maddocks and Jim Robinson. Phil Hunt, Richard S. Guadian, Compton Ross, Timur Innvutt, Bryce Menzies, and David Gross executive produce.
