Almost two years have passed since “Outcast” premiered on Cinemax. We’ve been wondering if we’d ever see the supernatural series’ second season, but we have to wonder no longer, the premiere date has just been announced and we won’t have to wait long. The series, inspired by Robert Kirkman’s comic, will be back this summer!
In the first season, we met Kyle Barnes, played by Patrick Fugit, a young man who has been plagued by possession all his life. Kyle, with the help of Reverand Anderson (Philip Glenister), a priest with demons of his own, sets out to find answers. Along the way, he encounters people who share the same affliction. He uncovers a strange connection with a possessed 8-year-old boy that leads to answers about his past. While on his quest he will discover something that could not only change his fate but the fate of the world.
