We’ve all seen those spooky little videos that aim to make you scream in its final moments as something pops up on the screen. Now, there’s a found footage flick, #Screamers, that looks to capitalize on the terror some find in those short films.
In the film, “Two internet gurus investigate the authenticity of a series of #Screamers videos. As they unravel the source of the mysterious videos, they uncover something far more sinister and terrifying about the people behind them.”
Directed by Dean Matthew Ronalds (Meet the Browns) and co-written by Tom Malloy (The Alphabet Killer), the film stars Malloy, Chris Bannow, Griffin Matthews, Emanuela Galliussi, Theodora Miranne, and Abbi Snee.
#Screamers opened in select theaters on April 5, 2018, but you can watch it now on VOD.
