While fans were excited about seeing Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward reunited for the first time since 1990 for Syfy’s “Tremors” series, which filmed its pilot last year in New Mexico. But that won’t be happening, at least not with Syfy. The network has passed on ordering the series.
Bacon himself broke the news on Instagram.
Set 25 years after the Graboid attack on the remote town of Perfection, Nevada, the creatures have once again surfaced, but before he can deal with the monsters, Val would have to deal with the fact that he has a problem with alcohol and a delusional hero complex.
The series would have ignored every one of the film’s sequels including the latest movie Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell.
