Fans have been eagerly awaiting Todd McFarlane’s upcoming Spawn movie. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new, but we have now learned that McFarlane may have found his “Spawn”.
According to That Hashtag Show, Jamie Foxx has been offered the role. Nothing has been signed at this point. But we do know that Foxx has expressed interest in the role in the past.
“Foxx has yet to sign on for the role and his decision may ultimately be a major factor in how fast this project gets off the ground,” the report says. “Should he, or another actor quickly take on the role, however, they’ll be sharing the spotlight with another lead.”
Spawn, will be sharing screen time with another popular character, private investigator Twitch Williams. Spawn and Twitch will be working together to hunt down bad guys in New York City.
