What started out as a normal day has quickly become an amazing day. Fans (including us) of Adult Swim’s “Rick and Morty” were crushed when they came to realization that we probably wouldn’t see Rick and Morty have another adventure after the finale months ago. But just when we thought it was all over, Adult Swim comes through with a massive 70-episode order! That’s right, 70!
The massive renewal comes along with an overall deal the network signed with the show’s creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, according to Variety.
The series follows Rick, a sociopathic genius, and his grandson Morty as they go on insanely dangerous adventures throughout the multi-verse.
The big announcement that Roiland and Harmon were going back to work on the series in a strange Instagram post earlier today.
