Back in 2014, we were introduced to Levan Gabriadze’s social media horror film Unfriended about a group of friends who discover a supernatural force has taken over their dead friend’s account.
Now, the sequel, Unfriended: Dark Web is set to be released this summer and the trailer has just been released.
In Dark Web, a teen comes into possession of a new laptop and soon discovers that the previous owner is not only watching him but will also do anything to get it back.

Colin Woodell, Betty Gabriel, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Stephanie Nogueras, Andrew Lees, Chelsea Alden, Douglas Tait, and Rob Welsh star. Stephen Susco directed from the script written by Nelson Greaves and Stephen Susco. Timur Bekmambetov, Jason Blum of Blumhouse, and Majd Nassif serve as producers.
Unfriended: Dark Web opens in theaters nationwide on July 20, 2018.
