The Terminator franchise has spanned three decades, with the latest film, directed by Tim Miller, currently filming. The first images have surfaced on Instagram, giving us our first look at Linda Hamilton as Sarah Conner and she is as badass as she’s always been.

The images also include a look at Mackenzie Davis, who has a big part in the film that will ignore its predecessors T2, Terminator 3, and Terminator: Genisys producer James Cameron has stated.
This is a continuation of the story from Terminator 1 and Terminator 2. And we’re pretending the other films were a bad dream. Or an alternate timeline, which is permissible in our multiverse. This was really driven more by [Tim] than anybody, surprisingly, because I came in pretty agnostic about where we took it. The only thing I insisted on was that we somehow revamp it and reinvent it for the 21st century.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger will also be returning for the film. Gabriel Luna and Natalia Reyes will co-star.
