Alfred Hitchcock Funko Coming Soon.

This October fans will be able to add famed suspense director, Alfred Hitchcock to their Funko POP! collection. The figure is colored in grayscale (classic black and white) with his iconic double chin holding a film clapper with the title “Psycho”, this film from 1960 is one of Hitchcock’s most memorable films about a woman who stole money from her employer and while on the run, encounters a serial killer. Hitchcock’s other known film titles include “The Birds“, “Vertigo“, and “Rear Window” including the television series “Alfred Hitchcock Presents“. This is will be the 6th POP! in the director series that include James Wan (“Saw“, “The Nun“), Taika Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok“, “Moana“), Paul Feig (“Spy“, “Ghostbusters” remake), James Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy” film series), and Guillermo Del Toro (“The Shape of Water“, “Pan’s Labyrinth“).

‘The Shelter’ Recieves A Worldwide Release

The critically acclaimed psychological thriller The Shelter, starring iconic actor Michael Paré (“Streets of Fire”, Eddie and the Cruiser), is now available for viewing around the world, thanks to its newfound home on Vimeo On Demand. The film, which the L.A. Times called “remarkably ambitious” and “a concise genre piece that doubles as a heavily metaphorical character sketch”, had previously been released on DVD and VOD in the United States, and was also sold in various countries around the world including Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, South Africa, Sweden and South East Asia. Horror Anthology ‘Blood Clots’ Debuts New Trailer

A new trailer for Hewes Pictures’ Blood Clots, starring Silence of the Lambs’ Brooke Smith, has been released. The horror anthology, premiering on Vimeo and Amazon this August, is a collection of horror stories curated by Freedom Cinema, consisting of shorts by New York distributor Hewes Pictures. Featuring cannibals, zombies and other funny creatures, the anthology stars many recognizable actors such as Brooke Smith (“The Silence of the Lambs”), Harry Sinclair (“Lord of the Rings”), Madalina Bellariu Ion (“Young Pope”) and Kristin Slaysman (“The Last Tycoon”, “Masters of Sex”) among many others. The collection is made up of seven short, gore-filled stories that will surely please the fans of the genre. Bill Oberst Jr. Shares Images Of HIs SFX Makeup For ‘Ray Bradbury Live (Forever)

Jeff Farley‘s love letter to Ray Bradbury will soon be on Bill Oberst Jr.‘s face. Special effects makeup artist and Primetime Emmy Award Nominee Farley has just completed the sculpt for Oberst’s prosthetic transformation into Bradbury in the authorized stage portrayal of the beloved author, Ray Bradbury Live (forever). This project is the culmination of four decades of professional experience, and the most exciting of my career,” Farley said. “I am proud to help my friend bring his vision to life. Bill says I’m his Dick Smith and he’s my Hal Holbrook. ‘Castle Rock’ To Tell A New “Unwritten King Story” Each Season

Just when we thought that Hulu’s anthology series “Castle Rock” couldn’t get any better we learn that the J.J. Abrams’ Stephen King universe-set show will “approach each season as an unwritten Stephen King novel”, according to co-creator Sam Shaw. Bloody Disgusting quoted Shaw as saying: “He’s a genre unto himself and there are seven or eight well-defined sub-genres. Hereditary Director Begins Pre-Production On New Horror Film

Director Ari Aster‘s 2017 film, Hereditary, is hailed as one of the most frighting films of the past decade. Now, he has begun production on his next project, a still-untitled genre film that will star Jack Reynor, Florence Pugh, and Will Poulter. According to Collider, Vilhem Blomgren, William Jackson Harper, Ellora Torchia, and Archie Madekwe will co-star. Pugh and Reynor will play a couple that travels to Sweden to visit their friend’s rural hometown for its fabled mid-summer festival. What begins as an idyllic retreat quickly devolves into an increasingly violent and bizarre competition at the hands of a pagan cult.
