Movie Review: e-Demon (2018)

Four online buddies are all murdered on the same night in locations all across the country, and while that would be a bit on the completely fucking weird side, a mysterious masked figure assures us that a freakin’ demon was responsible. After that totally responsible explanation we are shown the “actual” recorded chat of said event as we are introduced to our protagonists via their “not quite Skype” chitting of the chat. Things border on the mundane until one of the participants, Mar (Ryan Redebaugh) quizzes his grandmother on camera about the legend of a cursed trunk in their home’s attic…which of course that ass-hair opens with the quickness…which results in a lame prank…oh, and actually releases a demonic force. After more high-larious pranks (which aren’t) things get down to the whitchy wickedness as blood rites are performed, pentagrams magically appear on flesh, and sex and murder go hand in hand…and no one can be trusted as the evil spreads

The “wildly un-PC, low budget hockey-themed zombie comedy Ahockalypse lands on VOD this August, from writer-director Wayne H. Johnson Jr. The trailer for this undead flick has already scored over 150, 000 views which is a new milestone for a genre film this small. In the film, the Prairie Kings hockey team is about to battle for the championship and their lives – all in the same night! During their riotous celebration, the Earth is suddenly overrun by a zombie Ahockalypse! Now, these lovable goons have to battle their way back to their home arena for a final showdown with the undead. Is it sudden death for the Prairie Kings?! New Difficulty Update Coming Soon For ‘Vampyr’

Later this summer, fans of the blood-sucking RPG, “Vampyr” will see a new update to the game, a difficulty setting. The game’s difficulty depends on the actions players take to earn XP to raise the stats of Jonathan Reed, the game’s protagonist. Players can earn XP by fighting enemies, locating documents, talking with London citizens, and completing side missions but if you want to earn a lot of XP quickly you can “embrace” (suck the blood) of characters you meet along the way but by doing so can affect events in the game. The new difficulty will affect how players can earn XP, through combat you will earn little to none, making the temptation greater to feed on the citizens of London. Because of this new update, it would make the gameplay more about the narrative of the story. Enter ‘The Forest Of Lost Souls’ This August In Theaters

Leading independent distributor Wild Eye Releasing has acquired the Portuguese horror film The Forest of the Lost Souls. The psychological “coming of age” horror film, written and directed by directed by José Pedro Lopes, marks Wild Eye’s first theatrical release. The film, which made its world premiere at the Fantasporto Film Festival on February 26, 2017, is scheduled to open in theaters this August. In the film, “Ricardo and Carolina are complete strangers that meet seemingly by chance in the “Forest of the Lost Souls”, a place where many people go to commit suicide. These two, a young woman and an old man, are no different than the others as they also came to the forest for this very reason. “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” Casts Cody Fern As Adult Demon Child

A new tidbit has been revealed for “American Horror Story: Apocalypse“, the highly-anticipated cross-over between ‘Murder House” and “Coven”. The series’ co-creator Ryan Murphy announced Thursday that Cody Fern (The Assassination of Ghianni Versace: American Crime Story) is set to play the adult Michael Langdon. https://twitter.com/MrRPMurphy/status/1022630914575069185 Michael was born to Vivien (Connie Britton) after being raped by Tate (Evan Peters). Jessica Lange’s character adopted the demon child who we saw murder a babysitter as a toddler. Fern joins returning cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Joan Collins, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner, and Adina Porter. Emma Roberts and Taissa Farmiga have been teased to be returning, but are not confirmed at this point. Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman (UnReal) and Kyle Allen (The Path) have also joined the cast. Movie Review: Rondo (2018)

Rondo begins with Paul (Luke Sorge), a PTSD suffering ex-combat vet and alcoholic, getting chastised by his sister cum caretaker Jill (Brenna Otts) who ends up sending him to a therapist (Gena Shaw) who unbelievably recommends that he keeps drinking, and prescribes him a rather unorthodox treatment; namely attending a very bizarre sex party with very specific rules…and an end result for each participant that isn’t quite what one would expect. Paul naturallt decides to exit stage left from the whole affair which results in a different kind of orgy…one of violence that at the film’s half way point changes the paradigm of the story completely…and not in a way you would ever guess! As you can surmise, Rondo is a film packed with twists and surprises, and while that results in an edge-of-you-seat, unpredictable thrill ride for the viewer it makes my job excruciatingly difficult because I can’t discuss the reasons why this film is so amazing without giving

‘Slender Man’ Stalks Its Second Trailer

A new trailer is here for Sony Pictures’ frightening flick Slender Man. The new trailer is the second to be released and reveals some seriously creepy footage. Directed by Sylvian White, Slender Man centers on the tall, featureless figure born from a Something Awful story contest entry by Victor Surge. After finding its way to Creepypasta the entity took on a life of its own. Set in a small town in Massachusetts, the film centers on four high school girls who perform a ritual in an attempt to debunk the lore of Slender Man. When one of the girls goes mysteriously missing, they begin to suspect that she is, in fact, HIS latest victim.” The Conjuring and Wish Upon‘s Joey King and Julia Goldani Telles star along with Annalise Basso (Captain Fantastic), Jaz Sinclair (When The Bough Breaks), and Alex Fitzalan. ‘Halo: Fireteam Raven’ Makes Its World Debut

Fans of “Halo” should get their passports ready and set their sights on Australia. For the first time, the popular game series has entered the world of arcade gaming with “Halo: Fireteam Raven”, which was revealed at Timezone (Australia’s answer to Dave & Buster’s) at the Sydney, Macquarie Shopping Centre. “Halo: Fireteam Raven” is a 4 player arcade experience where players can either work together or fight each other. The game booth sports a 130-inch widescreen, 4K gameplay, and 5.1 surround sound. Fans can fight alongside Master Chief as ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) members of Fireteam Raven as they fight off the Alien conglomerate known as The Covenant and the dreaded zombie-like infection known as The Flood. Eventually, more Timezone locations will have “Halo: Fireteam Raven” in their arcades but fingers crossed that “Halo” fans in the states will see this beauty of arcade goodness someday here at home!

Michael Cudlitz Finds New Role With “The Walking Dead”

Back in season 6 “The Walking Dead” fans watched on as Negan beat Abraham Ford’s head in with Lucille. We thought we had said goodbye forever to Michael Cudlitz whose character was legendary for fantastic quotes on the hit series. Luckily, we were wrong. Cudlitz is coming back, but this time he won’t be fighting walkers, he’ll be directing them.
