The “wildly un-PC, low budget hockey-themed zombie comedy Ahockalypse lands on VOD this August, from writer-director Wayne H. Johnson Jr. The trailer for this undead flick has already scored over 150, 000 views which is a new milestone for a genre film this small.
In the film, the Prairie Kings hockey team is about to battle for the championship and their lives – all in the same night! During their riotous celebration, the Earth is suddenly overrun by a zombie Ahockalypse! Now, these lovable goons have to battle their way back to their home arena for a final showdown with the undead. Is it sudden death for the Prairie Kings?!
Hockey legends Kelly Chase and Barry Melrose star alongside Jesse Rennicke, Alex Galick, Squall Charlson, Kaylee Williams, Gabrielle Arrowsmith, and Mason Hendricks.
Ahockalypse is skating towards its nationwide VOD release on August 17, 2018.
