A new tidbit has been revealed for “American Horror Story: Apocalypse“, the highly-anticipated cross-over between ‘Murder House” and “Coven”.
The series’ co-creator Ryan Murphy announced Thursday that Cody Fern (The Assassination of Ghianni Versace: American Crime Story) is set to play the adult Michael Langdon.

Michael was born to Vivien (Connie Britton) after being raped by Tate (Evan Peters). Jessica Lange’s character adopted the demon child who we saw murder a babysitter as a toddler.
Fern joins returning cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Joan Collins, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner, and Adina Porter. Emma Roberts and Taissa Farmiga have been teased to be returning, but are not confirmed at this point. Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman (UnReal) and Kyle Allen (The Path) have also joined the cast.
With this development, we can’t help but wonder if Lange will return to the show, but we can hope. We still don’t know at this point what the plot will be and how the witches of “Coven” will be involved, but we can’t wait to find out.
“American Horror Story: Apocalypse” premieres on FX on September 12, 2018.
