The James Wan-produced horror film The Children has a new title and teaser trailer. Now renamed The Curse of La Llorona, the film was directed by Michael Chaves and written by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis.
Linda Cardellini, Patricia Velasquez, Jaynee-Lynne Kinchen, Roman Christou, Raymond Cruz, and Sean Patrick Thomas star.
“The story follows a social worker who, while investigating the mysterious disappearance of two children, discovers her own family might also be in jeopardy.”
Wan, under the banner of his company Atomic Monster, produces alongside Gary Dauberman and Emile Gladstone. Michael Clear serves as executive producer.  
The Curse of La Llorona is from New Line, who serves as a home for Wan’s Conjuring universe, which includes both the Annabelle films and the upcoming Conjuring 2 spin-off The Nun.
