Last night at the San Diego Comic-Con it was confirmed that a third Annabelle film is on its way. The first spin-off from The Conjuring franchise will come full circle with its final film, set in the present.
The franchise has revealed that the haunted doll is only one of the many terrifying objects locked away in Warren’s museum. Now, Annabelle will activate everything inside the museum and terrorize the Warren’s 10 year-old daughter Judy.
Gary Dauberman who wrote both Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation will be both writing and directing the sequel which is being described as “Night at the Museum, but with demons.” James Wan will be producing.
Even though New Line has just announced Annabelle 3, it already possesses a release date, July 3, 2019.
Annabelle 3 is not the only Conjuring spin-off with a release date, The Nun is set to open in theaters nationwide on September 7th.
