Director Alexandre Aja (Horns, The Hills Have Eyes) and producer Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead, Drag Me to Hell) have teamed up for the new horror thriller Crawl which has already entered production.
News comes today, via THR, that Barry Pepper (The Green Mile) has now boarded the cast that also stars Pirate of the Caribean actress Kaya Scodelario, Ross Anderson, Anson Boon, and Jose Palmer.
Aja penned the most recent version of the script originally written to spec by Shawn and Michael Rasmussen. Craig Flores produces alongside Raimi.
“Crawl centers on a young woman who, while struggling to save her father (Pepper) during a Category 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped inside a flooding house and fighting for her life against Florida’s most savage and feared predators.”
