Filming seems to have wrapped for Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch‘s new adaptation of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary.
Today, we have the first behind-the-scenes image, shared by assistant director Beau Ferris,of John Lithgow as Jud, originally played back in 1989 by the late Fred Gwynne.
Jason Clarke (Winchester) stars as Louis Creed, with Amy Seimetz playing the role of Louis’ wife Rachel. Jeté Laurence co-stars as Ellie Cree, with twins Hugo and Lucas Lavoie playing the role of Gage.
The new version was originally set to open in theaters on April 19, 2019, but has been bumped up to April 5th from Paramount.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and Steven Schneider are serving as producers.
