Jay Baruchel Heads Out On A Road Trip In ‘Random Acts Of Violence’ Adaptation

This is the End actor Jay Baruchel (Man Seeking Woman) is starring in, directing, and producing the horror flick Random Acts of Violence which has now begun filming, THR reports.
The Cabin in the Woods actor Jesse Williams is co-starring alongside Jordana Brewster (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake), and Niamh Wilson (Maps to The Stars).
“The project that follows comic book creator Todd Walkley, played by Williams, who along with his girlfriend Kathy (Brewster), assistant Aurora (Wilson), and best friend Ezra, played by Baruchel, go on a road trip from Toronto to New York City for Comic-Con, only to face adversity along the way.”
The flick, a road trip movie, is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray. Baruchel re-teams with writing partner Jesse Chabot for the film.
Noah Segal and Randy Manis are producing. Williams, Chabot, Ricky Tollman and Jonathan Bronfman are serving as executive producers.
