The yearly gaming expo GAMESCOM, in Germany, was invaded by the same hoard that’s been invading other gaming conventions, plague rats!
Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive released an uncut 16-minute gameplay trailer for their upcoming game, “A Plague Tale: Innocence”
The trailer originally was shown to the press behind closed doors at E3, but has now been made public, and the game looks EPIC! It should be noted that the gameplay shown is a work in progress, so the scene depicted may be laid out differently or may not even be in the game upon release.
“A Plague Tale: Innocence” follows siblings Amicia and Hugo in 1349 as they try to escape the hellish landscape that France has become due to war and the plague. The siblings must use stealth and rely on the help of other orphans they meet in order to survive against soldiers, inquisitors, and of course; hoards of rats.
“A Plague Tale: Innocence” will be coming out in 2019 for PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC.
