Samara Weaving Cast As Lead In ‘Ready Or Not’ From Radio Silence

 
The directing team of Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, known as Radio Silence, (V/H/S, Devil’s Due) is gearing up for their next project, Ready or Not, from Fox Searchlight.
We’ve learned, via Variety, that Samara Weaving (The Babysitter, Mayhem) has snagged the lead role in the film about A young woman who is invited on the night of her wedding by her new husband’s rich, eccentric family to participate in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival.
The script was penned by Guy Busick (Stan Against Evil) and Ryan Murphy (Minutes Past Midnight). Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, Bradley Fischer, and William Sherak are producing.  Tara Farney, Tracey Nyberg, and Chad Villella are serving as executive producers. Ready or Not is scheduled to begin shooting this fall.
