Netflix is gearing up to give viewers a frightastic Halloween this year. In fact, the streaming giant has just revealed the premiere date for their new genre series “The Haunting of Hill House” as well as the first batch of images.
The new adaptation of Shirley Jackson‘s novel Hill House centers on a family in both modern day and in the past as they face ghosts both of their past and the kind that go bump in the night.
Created, directed and executively produced by Mike Flanagan (Gerald’s Game, Oculus), the series stars Michael Huisman, Carla Gugino, Timothy Hutton, Elizabeth Reaser, and Henry Thomas.
“The Haunting of Hill House” premieres on October 12, 2018.
