Chance the Rapper stars alongside Zazie Beetz, Paul Scheer, and Will Brill (Eyes Of My Mother, “The OA”), Katherine Cunningham, Hannibal Buress, Joe Keery, Y’lan Noel, Chris Parnell, and Paul Scheer in this movie that goes heavy on the cheese.
Slice follows a pizza delivery driver in a spooky small town who is murdered on the job like several other delivery drivers, leaving the city searching for someone to blame: ghosts? drug dealers? a disgraced werewolf? Two survivors (Beetz and Chance the Rapper) set out to hunt down the truth.
It’s a city where ghosts and humans come together; there’s a ghost town and a regular town,” producer Brett Hays said last year during filming. “It just kind pokes fun and has fun with those genres.”
In the trailer, we learn that Perfect Pizza was built on top of a gateway to hell. As if that wasn’t bad enough, all of the delivery people are being hunted.
