Blumhouse’s new horror flick Thriller gives off a major Prom Night meets Scream vibe in its first trailer, all while reminding us of the 70’s horror we love so much. The 70’s were a great decade, giving us classic films like Prom Night, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre,  and The Exorcist, each having the same type of feel and look.
An introverted young man named Chauncey Page is sent to juvenile detention after he accidentally kills a member of a group of bullies after they play a cruel prank on him. Four years later he is back and he’s out for revenge.
Jason Woods stars alongside Fences actor Mykelti Williamson and rapper turned actor RZA. Jessica Allain, Luke Tennie, Tequan Richmond, page Hurd, Chelsea Rendon, and Mitchell Edwards, Deadline reports.
Divide/Conquer are producing the film written and directed by Dallas Jackson. Thriller will make its World Premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival on September 23, 2018.
