
Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement‘s 2014 horror-comedy What We Do in the Shadows was an instant hit. Now, their two new spinoff series are headed our way and we can’t wait to sink our teeth into them.
The “What We Do in the Shadows” 10-episode series is set to premiere next Spring on FX, but first it’s coming to NYCC next month, on Sunday, October 7th to be exact. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with executive producers Clement, Waititi and Paul Simms.
The series, set in Staten Island. “What We Do in the Shadows” follows three vampires who have been roommates for hundreds and hundreds of years.
The other spinoff, titled “Wellington Paranormal“, which follows the police officers we met in the film played by Mike Minogue and Karen O’Leary. Nick (Cori Gonzalez-Macuer) will also be featured in the series as the duo struggles to protect Wellington safe from supernatural forces.
