Basketball star LeBron James is making a name for himself in Hollywood. The NBA champion who is already attached to the sequel to Space Jam is ready to make his way into the horror genre.
The superstar is currently in talks to produce Vertigo Entertainments’ Friday the 13th reboot under his Springhill Entertainment banner.
Following Halloween’s $70 million-plus opening weekend, there’s no better time for the reboot to happen. Between James and Vertigo who has delivered many horror hits (Stephen King’s It, The Ring, The Grudge, The strangers), it may be interesting to see a new version of the classic.
