‘Monster Hunter’ Expansion ‘Iceborne’ Coming 2019 Along With Geralt!

CAPCOM announced today that an expansion is coming for their best selling game, “Monster Hunter: World” with new quest ranks, locales, monsters, moves, and gear in “Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
The narrative of Iceborne begins where MHW’s narrative ends, so like most game expansions, you need the main game in order to get it. In the meantime, on December 20th the Kulve Taroth Siege online multiplayer event will take place where teams of 4 can try to defeat an Arched Tempered version of the beast that holds powerful awards for the team IF successful.
 
 

 
 
CAPCOM is offering a free trial of “Monster Hunter: World” starting tomorrow on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One beginning at 4 pm PST through December 17 at 3:59 pm PST.
 
 

 
 
In addition to the expansion news, CAPCOM also announced that they’ll be teaming up with CD PROJECT RED to bring Geralt from the “The Witcher 3” into the world of “Monster Hunter”! Geralt will go on unique quests set in the world of MH and blend the RPG styles of both game series. The actors who voiced Geralt will return and offer their talents for this crossover dream come true! Geralt will be coming to MH early next year.
