They’re creepy and they’re Kooky, the Addams family.
The Addams family is back, this time in an animated film. The full voice cast has finally been announced and it’s impressive.
Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron will be playing the oh so elegant dark lady Morticia Addams. Golden Globe Award-winner Oscar Isaac will star as the suave Gomez Addams. Chloë Grace Moretz is set to lend her voice to Wednesday Addams. “Stranger Things” actor Finn Wolfard will voice Wednesday’s partner in crime, her brother Pugsley. Bette Midler will be voicing Grandmama. Nick Kroll will play Uncle Fester. Martin Short (Innerspace) and Catherine O’Hara (A Series of Unfortunate Events) will lend their voices to a couple that star opposite the Addams.
Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan are directing the 3D computer-animated feature for MGM. Vernon has stated that he drew inspiration for the film’s look from the original Charles Addams‘ New Yorker cartoons.
