Originally set to be released this year, the Steven Spielberg-produced horror thriller The Turning has been delayed until 2020. Universal has now scheduled the adaptation of The Turn of the Screw to arrive on January 24, 2020.
Finn Wolfhard, Mackenzie Davis, and Brooklynn Prince lead the cast for the film that follows a young woman hired as the nanny to two orphans who are convinced that the country mansion they live in is haunted.
Floria Sigismondi directed the film with Jade Bartlett penning the latest version of the script by Chad and Carey Hayes (The Conjuring 2). Scott Bernstein and Roy Lee are producing. Stephen Spielberg is serving as executive producer for The Turning.
