One of the best things about the Super Bowl isn’t the football, it’s the commercials, TV spots, and trailer unveiled during the big game. Two of the TV spots this year belongs to the Guillermo del Toro-produced film adaptation of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, based on the best selling children’s book series of the same name. In the first two teaser videos, we get our first real look at two of the villains of the film and they are nightmare inducing. This is gonna be good!
Written by Dan Hageman, and Kevin Hageman, the film stars Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Austin Abrams, Dean Norris, Gil Bellows, Lorraine Toussaint, Austin Zajur, and Natalie Ganzhorn.

Director André Øvredal’s Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark opens in theaters everywhere on August 9, 2019, from CBS Films and Lionsgate.
