Since the moment fans first sunk their teeth into Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement‘s hilarious mocumentary What We Do In the Shadows, they’ve been thirsting for more. The dynamic duo is happy to oblige, giving us the upcoming FX series by the same name.
Today, the network announced the series’ March premiere date and unveiled the first full trailer which introduces the Staten Island vampires, Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Nandor (Kayvan Novak), who are your average fun loving vamps, then there’s Olin (Mark Proksch), a psychic vampire who sucks the energy out of his victims by boring them to death with mundane anecdotes and bad jokes. The office is his feeding ground, but his powers also work on his vampire roomies.
Don’t worry, the film franchise is far from over. Waititi and Clement are currently working on the film’s sequel titled We’re Wolves which will follow the group of werewolves we met in the first film.
