Earlier this year we sat down for an interview with Deborah Voorhees to talk about her upcoming horror film 13 Fanboy, a movie about a group of stars being hunted by a demented, obsessed Friday the 13th fan who plans to kill the franchise’s stars.
The cast, made up of many Friday the 13th stars, has since grown. News has now come that Corey Feldman who played Jason’s child nemesis is Friday the 13th 4: The Final Chapter has come on board to star. He joins Kane Hodder, Tracie Savage, Thom Mathews, C.J. Graham, Jennifer Banko, Ron Sloan, Carol Locatell, and Judie Aronson who also starred in The Final Chapter.
This is not a fan film.
It is not a fan film at all. It is going to be in theaters and get a wide release as far as DVD and streaming. It isn’t directly associated with Friday the 13th and it’s very different from the Friday the 13th franchise. It is much more realistic because it is something that could actually happen.” Vorhees stated.
Speaking of realistic, the script, based on true events, felt so real that actress Adrienne King had to step away from the film due to her troubling experience with a twisted Friday the 13th fan.
