We are headed back to a world where dinosaurs still walk the earth for the final installment of the Jurassic World trilogy with Colin Trevorrow back in the director’s chair. So what can we expect?

Franchise star Chris Pratt recently talked with MTV News about the third installment.
I can’t say anything, but I can tell you when I heard the pitch, I was blown away. I can’t believe that we’re going to make the movie, and I can’t believe they found a way to deliver on the promise of the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Like, ‘Wait what? The island has blown up. The animals are out, we can’t put them back into the box. What are we going to do? How are no only these dinosaurs, but this technology moving forward going to affect the planet?’ We jump forawrd, and it’s like, ‘Oh! Oh, right! Oh, damn!’ [Trevorrow] has been working his butt off on it and it’s going to be epic.”
Rumors are circulating that several of the Jurassic Park stars, along with Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, will be returning for Jurassic World 3, including Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern.
While Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom didn’t get the same love as Jurassic World, it still brought in an impressive $1.3 billion at the box office. This time around, we are getting a film that feels more like the original.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ended with the island destroyed and several species of dinosaurs escaping into the world after they were stolen and auctioned off. One of the most interesting parts of the movie is the discovery that the young girl in the film, Masie, played by Isabella Sermon, is the first cloned human.
