First Images From ‘Candy Corn’ Give Us A Look At Horror Icons Tony Todd And P.J. Soles

The first images from the indie horror Candy Corn, written, directed, and produced by Josh Hasty (In Hell Everybody Loves Popcorn: The Making of Rob Zombie’s 31) are here giving us our first look at horror icons P.J. Soles (Halloween), Tony Todd (Candyman), Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn), and Pancho Moler (Rob Zombie’s 31).

 

Set in Grove Hill, Ohio, on Halloween eve, a traveling carnival is on town for the weekend. Local outcast Jacob Atkins is one of the freaks at the Carnival’s main attraction “Dr. Death’s Side Show Spook House Spectacular”. A group of local bullies are planning their annual public hazing of Jacob, but this year, it’s going to go too far.

 

Sky Elobar, Caleb Thomas, Madison Russ, Cy Creamer, Jimothy Beckholt, Nate Chaney, Patrick Ryan, Justin Mabry, Matt O’Neill, and Jaime Gallagher are also set to star.

 

Justin Mabry (Co-Owner of Trick or Treat Studios), Chris Gallaher (Vice, “Fear the Walking Dead,” Curious Case of Benjamin ButtonPassion of the Christ) and Erik Porn (“Scream Queens,” “American Horror Story”).  Costume Designer, Cody Varona (Costume/Stage wardrobe designer to Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and Guns ‘n’ Roses) make up the special effects team for this fright flick.

 

Courtney Gains is producing along with Matt O’NeillTony Todd, James Claeys, Trick or Treat Studios’ Justin Mabry, Fright Rags’ Ben Scrivens, Lindsey Kowalski, Brandon Cooper, and Nick Ford are serving as executive producers. The film is the first to be financed under the banner of Local Boogeyman Productions.
