Scooby and the gang are back for a new movie. This time around, Mystery Inc. will feature voices from “Last Man on Earth” star Will Forte, “Jane the Virgin” actress Gina Rodriguez, comedian Tracey Morgan, and Frank Welker who has worked in the Scoobyverse for decades.
Rodriguez will lend her voice to Thelma. Forte will voice Shaggy. Morgan will be voicing Captain Caveman, a character from the Hanna-Barbera universe.
Tony Cervone is in the director’s chair for the animated feature from Warner Bros. that sees Mystery Inc. join forces with other heroes from the Hanna-Barbera universe to save the world from Dick Dastardly. Scooby and the gang are set save the world in May of 2020.
A new Scooby series is also headed to the small screen. “Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?” premieres on March 23, 2019, and will feature a horde of guest cameos from celebrities. Matthew Lillard who starred as Shaggy in both 2002’s Scooby-Doo movie and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed will reprise his role as Shaggy.
