Patrick Brice had great success with his Netflix horror films Creep and Creep 2. Recently Brice teased that he’s attached to another horror film which Deadline confirmed today.

Brice will be directing Netflix’s There’s Someone Inside Your House, based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Stephanie Perkins which was adapted by Henry Gayden (Shazam!).

Slated to begin production this fall, ” the film is described as a combination of two different beloved teenage genres: the slashers that came to prominence in the ’80s and ’90s and the character-driven coming of age classics a la John Hughes’ films and American Graffiti.”

Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps and James Wan’s Atomic Monster are producing.
