Writer-director Gary Dauberman‘s Annabelle Comes Home, the seventh installment of The Conjuring Universe, arrives in theaters this June. Today, we get our first look at the film, shared by franchise producer James Wan on Instagram along with a message to fans.

Okay, maybe she has snuck in my other recent films (which I won’t confirm or deny), BUT… she’ll very definitely be up front and center on this one! The real next chapter of THE CONJURING Universe. On June 28th Annabelle Comes Home. Directed by Gary Dauberman.”

Reportedly, Annabelle makes a quick appearance in Aquaman, but Wan won’t confirm that. The new image features the possessed doll sitting on a shelf with other cursed objects in the Warren’s museum. In the film, Annabelle targets the Warren’s ten-year-old daughter Judy (McKenna Grace) and her babysitter as Annabelle activates all the other haunted artifacts in Warren’s trophy room, basically creating a Night at the Museum situation, only a lot more terrifying.

Both Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as Lorraine and Ed Warren. Madison Iseman, McKenna Grace, Katie Sarife, and Steve Coulter also star.

Be sure to watch Annabelle, and it’s prequel Annabelle: Creation before heading to theaters on June 28th for the third installment, Annabelle Comes Home.
