New Wave Pictures’ remake of Del Tenney’s 1971 zombie flick I Eat Your Skin is headed our way. While we don’t have a release date, we do have the trailer.

Starring Bollywood queen Sunny Leone, the movie centers on “A group of international photographers journey to photograph a rare bird in the Philippines, the Black Shama. They are told the legend of an ancient warlord whose spirit is said to still roam the land. Ignoring the warnings, they travel deep into the jungle and set up camp. When one of them finds a fresh corpse clutching a strange talisman, he becomes host to the vengeful ghost and begins to prey on his fellow travelers.

By spear, by machete, by teeth – no skin will be spared.”

I Eat Your Skin is an Australian/Philippines co-production from director John Klyza and is said to be “starkly divert from the original but with callbacks.”
