These days there’s an app for everything. If there was an app that revealed exactly when you’ll die, would you use it? That’s what STX Films’ new movie Countdown is all about.

Written and directed by Justin Dec, Countdown stars “You” actress Elizabeth Lail, Talitha Bateman (Annabelle: Creation),  Peter Facinelli (Twilight franchise), P.J Byrne (Green BookRampage), Anne Winters (Night School, 13 Reasons Why), Tom Segura (Instant Family), Jordan Calloway (Black Lightning, Riverdale) and Tichina Arnold (Everyone Hates Chris).

Lail stars as a young nurse who downloads an app that claims to predict exactly when a person is going to die. It tells her she only has three days to live. With time ticking away and a mysterious figure haunting her, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out.

Sean Anders, John Morris, John Rickard, and Zack Schiller will be producing Countdown, according to Deadline.
