Fans don’t have to wait for E3 to get a firsthand glance at Capcom’s upcoming Iceborne expansion to Monster Hunter: World!
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will pick up where the original story left off as players will be joining the Research Commission again as they explore the frozen world of Hoarfrost Reach after a mysterious sighting of a Legiana monster. Hunters will have to explore the frozen map (which is also the largest to date in “Monster World”) as they gather supplies and prepare for the challenges of this new world.
Some familiar monsters, like the Tigrex, will be making a comeback to this expansion as well as introducing some new ones like the Shrieking Legiana that can freeze the air around it as it attacks the hunters.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be coming to PlayStation 4, and Xbox One devices September 6th, 2019 while the PC release will be sometime during the winter, fitting I’d say! Pre-Orders are now available (A copy of Monster Hunter: World is required for the DLC to work!)
