Josh Boone (The New Mutants) and CBS All Access’ series adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Stand” has already cast several big names including James Marsden (“West World”) and Amber Heard (Aquaman). Today news broke that rocker-actor Marilyn Manson has now confirmed that not only will he be contributing to the series’ soundtrack, but he’ll also be co-starring.
I also did a cover of “The End” by the Doors, for a new miniseries of The Stand by Stephen King, which I’m also going to be acting in.” Manson stated.
Whoopi Goldberg (Ghost), and Greg Kinnear (“The Twilight Zone”) also star alongside Odessa Young (“Assassination Nation), and Henry Zaga (“The New Mutants”).
Boone and Ben Cavell executive produce along with Roy Lee, Jimmy Miller, and Richard P. Rubenstein. Owen King will produce.
This is far from being Manson’s first film role, in fact, he already has forty roles under his belt, including his recurring roles on TV’s “Sons of Anarchy” and “Salem”.
