According to what Bloody-Disgusting calls “an extremely reliable insider”, David Gordan Green will be returning to direct back-to-back sequels to 2018’s Halloween, the direct follow-up to John Carpenter’s 1978 classic.

While the news has yet to be confirmed, it is said that both sequels will be released in the same month, October of 2020. A sequel has been discussed since the 2018 movie was released in theaters, bringing in $250 million globally. A trilogy has also been mentioned in the recent past. This is the first time two sequels back-to-back have been reported, but the site seems to have a lot of faith in their unnamed source.
