Fans of “Lucifer” will be getting a lot more of that handsome little devil in season 5. TV Guide is reporting that the season has been expanded, give us a total of 16 episodes, giving fans a proper good-bye to the characters that we’ve come to love.

Season 4 found Chloe (Lauren German) trying to cope with the reality that Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is exactly who he says he is, the devil. Just when she began to accept it, a gang of demons’ staged uprising forces Lucifer to return to his throne to protect those he cares about. But just before he left, he and Chloe finally confessed their love for each other.  One thing that we prey happens this season is that the star-crossed lovers find their way back to each other.

Season 4 left a few other things up in the air, the prophecy of Lucifer’s first love needs to be addressed. Everyone assumed his first love was Eve (Inbar Lavi), but it isn’t, it’s actually Chloe. Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) and Linda (Rachel Harris) now have to find a way to protect their baby, a Nephilim. Then there’s Maze’ (Lesley-Ann Brandt) and Eve’s new feelings for each other.
