AMC’s new upcoming spin-off of “The Walking Dead” is headed our way, while the series is still untitled and a lot of details are still being kept hush-hush, but here’s what we do know.

According to Deadline, the third show will follow the first generation coming of age in the apocalypse that we have seen in the previous two series.  The official logline as reported by THR states: “Some go on to become heroes, while some take the villainous route. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.”

During the San Diego Comic-Con, Scott Gimple had this to say. “These kids grew up in a place of comfort and security, but they leave everything on a dangerous quest and end up being pursued by adults on their own dangerous quest. We’ll see kids become heroes and some become villains.”

Aliyah Royale stars as Iris; Annet Mahendru will play Huck; Alexa Mansour plays Hope; Nicolas Cantu has been cast as Elton; Hal Cumpston will play Silas.

Scott M. Gimple, “The Walking Dead” and writer Matt Negrete co-created the series. Negrete, who has been a writer and producer on ‘The Walking Dead’ for the past five seasons, will also serve as showrunner. Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kong: Skull Island) will direct the series.

The untitled “Walking Dead” series is set to hit AMC in the spring of 2020 and will feature 10 episodes.
