NEON and Hulu has just announced the theatrical release of Little Monsters starring Lupita Nyong’o (Jordan Peele’s US) in 300 theaters on October 8th. But that’s not all, a one-time theatrical event for Little Monsters will take place at a TBA theater. The event will feature a live-stream Q&A with Nyong’o, her co-star Alexander England, and the film’s writer-director Abe Forsythe.
In the movie written and directed by Abe Forsythe, “Dave (England), a washed-up musician, volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten field trip after taking a shine to the plucky school teacher, Miss Caroline (Nyong’o). Dave’s intentions are complicated by the presence of world-famous child entertainer and competitor for Miss Caroline’s affections, Teddy McGiggles (Josh Gad). One thing none of them bargained for is a zombie outbreak from which Dave and Miss Caroline must protect the children.”
Stephen Peacocke, Kat Stewart, Nadia Townsend, Marshall Napier, Henry Nixon, and Felix Williamson co-star. Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Keith Calder, and Jessica Calder produced.
Following its theatrical event, Little Monsters will premiere on Hulu on October 11th.
