Just last month, Creepy Jar released their psychological thriller survival simulation game Green Hell on STEAM and has received high praise for the unique approach to the genre. With the success of its release for the PC, Creepy Jar has announced that they plan on porting the game to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2020!
Green Hell is a first-person exploration/survival game where players take on the role of a husband searching for his missing wife, Mia, in the Amazon Rainforest. While in the sweltering jungle, threats become prevalent as every step is a fight for survival. Players will have to bushcraft in order to survive the harsh jungle environment. Players will also have the ability to perform “body checks” where they can inspect their body for wounds and parasites that can affect the character’s health.
Not only are the dangers in the player’s surroundings, but they’re also in the player’s mind where the character’s will is put to the test. Players will have to face their fears, weaknesses, and themselves. If the jungle won’t break our hero, his mind will.
Along with the news of porting Green Hell to consoles, Creepy Jar has announced that a co-op mode will be added to the game so friends can try to survive together in the Amazon. How and if you survive, is up to you.
