Jurassic World 3 is continuing to build its cast. The latest to sign on is “The Twilight Zone” (2019) actress DeWanda Wise who has been cast in a lead role. Wise also currently stars in Spike Lee’s “She’s Gotta Have It”, streaming now on Netflix.
Wise joins returning franchise cast members Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.
Colin Trevorrow will be in the director’s chair for the sequel that he co-wrote with Emily Carmichael. Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg will executive produce with Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley producing.
While details about the sequel’s plot have been kept hush, hush, we do know that the film picks up a year after the events of Jurassic World 2 in which dinosaurs were released into the U.S.
