It appears that many people can’t deal with subtitles, and I get it. But those people are missing out on some seriously amazing films. One foreign horror that is getting a ton of attention from those who can tolerate subtitles is Parasite, hailed as one of the best films of 2019 by many critics.

THR is reporting that award-winning Korean film is being adapted into an English-language limited series for HBO with director Bong Joon Ho teaming up with Adam McKay for the series, but there is no word yet if the series will be a continuance of the film or a reboot.

The film centers on two opposing families, one rich and one poor. All unemployed, Ki-taek and his family take peculiar interest in the wealthy and glamorous Parks, as they ingratiate themselves into their lives and get entangled in an unexpected incident.
