The February we will be introduced to writer-director Rory Kindersley‘s Eve, a psychological thriller set in London’s iconic Notting Hill, that tells the story of an actress who fails to land the role of her dreams and becomes obsessed with the woman who gets the part.
Co-written by Drew Sherring-Hill, the film stars Christine Marzano, Andrew Lee Potts, Jonathan Forbes, Rachael Warren, Lex Shrapnel, Rhashan Stone, Ali Bastian, and Yennis Cheung. It was produced by Toby Cook, Matthew Cook, and Drew Sherring-Hill.
“Eve follows two actresses fighting for the coveted role of ‘Eve’ in a screen adaptation of ‘Paradise Lost’. When the talented and beautiful Alex Beyer is awarded the role, her excitement is quickly tempered by a disturbing home invasion. Unsure of who or what is tormenting her, Alex’s sense of reality starts to spiral out of control threatening her sanity and the lives of those around her.”
The film was nominated as Best Thriller, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Global Film at the San Diego Film Fest, the film was also an official selection at Slamdance, Dublin International Film Festival, Cinequest, and the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
Eve arrives in theaters and on Digital this Valentine’s Day.
