Elijah Wood is making his return to horror with Come to Daddy, headed your way this March from Lionsgate.
Come to Daddy centers on Norval Greenwood, who arrives at his estranged father’s remote coastal cabin after receiving a letter. He quickly discovers that not only is his dad a prick and a bit insane, but that he also has a shady past that they are about to come face to face with. Norval must fight demons, some real and some perceived, in order to reconnect with the father he doesn’t really know.
Written by Toby Harvard (The Greasy Strangler), based on an idea from director Ant Timpson (ABC of Death), Come to Daddy also stars Stephen McHattie (“Watchmen”), Garfield Wilson (“The Man in the High Castle”), Michael Smiley (The World’s End), Martin Donovan (Tenet), and Simon Chin (Killing Eve).
Harvard is producing along with Laura Tunstall, Mette-Marie Kongsved, Emma Slade, and Daniel Berkman. Lia Buman, Tim Headington, and Timpson serve as executive producers.
Horror Fuel’s Joseph Perry states in his review that Come to Daddy ” takes some tense, engaging, mind-bending paths as it plays freely with horror, dark comedy, and thriller elements, with more than a fair share of brutality and blood spilling.”
Come to Daddy arrives on Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 24th, 2020.
